Shireen Naqvi
Chief Executive Officer and Director
School of Leadership

Shireen Naqvi's experience as a chief executive officer at School of Leadrship (SoL) and senior management consultant and facilitator at Navitus includes having been consulted by a number of local and multinational corporations, NGOs and educational resource centers across Pakistan. Her areas of focus are personal social development and visionary leadership. In her efforts to bring about positive change in the nation’s professional environment, she organized and led the annual Young Leaders Conference (YLC) from 2002 to 2006.

Shireen holds an MBA (1993), from the Institute of Business Administration, University of Karachi where she majored in Management Information Systems.

Shireen’s success in facilitating competency-building programs lies in her strength of adapting to a wide range of people.  Being exposed to diverse cultures through extensive traveling and varied experiences, Shireen believes in the value of diversity and the existence of immense potential in each and every individual.

She stimulates and enhances the latent talents of participants in her workshops. Her aim is to develop inner discipline, greater resolve and empathy in people.

Saima Khan
Chief Officer Operations
School of Leadership

Saima Khan belongs to the pioneering team that established the School of Leadership in July, 2002. She is the Director and Operations Manager at the School of Leadership and Project Manager of the Young Leaders’ Conference.

In her quest for an empowered and trusting youth, Saima Khan devotes herself to connecting with the stakeholders of young individuals. This allows her to gain multiple perspectives of issues faced by youth and possibilities that await them.

A practical objectivist, Saima Khan, along with a host of other responsibilities, ensures smooth operation of SoL.

Saima has a Masters in English Literature from Peshawar University and is a budding trainer. She has trained with a cross section of institutions and in-house training programs.

On an ordinary day, you would see her convincing managerial style as she juggles between corporate entities and counsels countless young individuals. Every day you see her motivating youth leaders, who manage to then set daring, audacious goals; lead teams and implement seemingly impossible objectives.

Married with two children, Saima manages family and work with amazing efficiency.  She is known for winning hearts and conquering minds. Her diligent, empathetic and encouraging personality stimulates determination in others. (page top)

Talha Iqbal
CEO, Leadership Series

Talha Iqbal is spearheading the Leadership Series at the School of Leadership (SoL). He has been with the organization the sixth year running. He is passionate about working with young individuals between the ages 14 to 24. 

Talha specializes in communication skills and honing the skills of the youth he works with, allowing them to realize their unquestionable potential. He believes that everyone is at their core is kind and its only experiences that make them the way they are.

He is currently pursuing a career in Media Sciences at Iqra University specializing in Advertising.

Believing in the Kaizen philosophy he practices a strict regime of self-analysis and continuously improving his skills. Talha attempts whole-heartedly to practice what he shares in his workshops.

Sana Nizamani
Associate – SoL 

A dynamic attitudinal trainer with a vibrant personality and enthusiasm to take up challenges, Sana Nizamani, Associate of School of Leadership, has been training in Pakistan Navy, Air Force, educational and government sector. Her areas of focus are personal social development and visionary leadership.

Along with her BS degree in Computer Science, she is a certified youth and attitudinal trainer (and consultant). She excels in most of the areas but is particularly fond of long-term planning and career-guidance. She has conducted a variety of development programs mainly covering Visioneering & goal setting, Self-management, Creativity & Innovation, Problem Solving & Decision Making, and Change Management for organizations such as PNS Rahnuma, PAF Masroor, Bahria College, Bahria University, Institute of Chartered and Management Accountants of Pakistan, Beaconhouse School System, Karachi University, and PAF KIET.

She is currently working on the “Leadership Series”, which is a combination of workshops designed for government, social and education sector. She aspires to continue her education in business and development sciences. (page top)

Urooj Mazhar
Project Director, ExtraCorp
Trainer, SoL

Urooj (popularly aka Ajju) looks like your avg. girl next door until she flashes her 100 watt smile and melts your heart.

Sucker for difference, Urooj and SoL had hots for each other from the day she stepped in for the first time. Having graduated in marketing, she’s always involved with marketing and creativity, but also has a keen mind for the strategic side of things. Urooj comes to us from a diverse background that has seen both sides of the training world (trainee and trainer). After attending TTYT, she delved into the workforce at SoL which led to a position as a Project Manager Beyond Beauty, a women empowerment conference. She added colors to her career when she switched from SoL to SoLF. As one of the initiators of ExtraCorp, she turned Shireen Naqvi’s dream for people with disability from concept to completion. Along with being responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of ExtraCorp, she is also intricately involved in expanding ExtraCorp through crafting new business initiatives.

While training Urooj has bounced around the globe and within Pakistan, serving a team and clientele diverse in nationality and stratum. A student for life, she has learnt from UNDP, SoL and a multitude of seminars and short courses. She deals with personal and social development as her forte, within and outside of our doors with energy, joviality, integrity, corny humor, flexibility and brutal honesty. She leads with passion, soul and extremely corny humor that she is proud of. (page top)

Umair Ashraf
Trainer, SoL

Umair is the life and soul at SoL. Any one who knows him would agree that he is a strong proponent of entrepreneurship. Being tech-savvy there is no problem to big for him.

Whilst training, he has a unique style wherein he presents his material, backed up with examples and quotations. He is well read and pounces at any new book he finds.

Umair specializes in Visioneering & Goal Setting, Self Management, Change Management and Emotional Intelligence. To date he has trained individuals from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP), Foundation Public School and Beconhouse School. He has also trained extensively in our public events which include: Train The Young Trainer (TTYT) and Hyde Park Juniors besides having led the Young Leaders’ Conference, 2006.

He is currently pursuing Bachelors in Business Administration from COMMECS Institute. (page top)
